Having come from an artistic family, I’ve been drawing since the age of 5.

I studied art through school and college and eventually became a wildlife illustrator.

The natural world has always fascinated me (David Attenborough is an inspiration and the Natural History Museum In London is my favourite place).

When I look closely at nature, I love the challenge of reflecting the textures within it. I like to think that my work allows people to see things that aren’t usually visible.

Now a retired illustrator, I’ve decided to quiet things down a bit and release my own work. I prefer to use gouache and hot press paper for my painting, for their versatility and resilience.
